Today we went to Aidan's to play and I crashed their couch for a bit. The kids were very serious about their moon sand creations. Mackenzie was super sweet and brave to let them play with it inside!

Playdate with Aidan
I finally got blogpress to work on my phone and I'm super excited to be able to post quickly. Hopefully it works well.

Counting our blessings...
When Chris and I heard that I was being put on bed rest I can admit that we were both very nervous about how that would ever work with a 2 year old. Then when the doctor told us a few days later how serious he was about the bed rest and his tune of "do your best" turned into "lie down and don't sit up" we got even more nervous.
Well, last night we were talking about how truly blessed we are to have the amazing family and friends that we do. In the past week we have been humbled by the amount of love and support we have received from everyone. The text messages, facebook/blog messages, phone calls, visits, dinners, lunches, help watching Wyatt to let him get out and have some fun, errand running, and even visits to work on our "to-do" list have meant more than we can say.
Chris would never want me to write this, but he also deserves a lot of credit. I'm a lucky girl! He has been working full time, going to school during lunch, evenings, and even Saturday mornings, and studying so hard to make straight "A"s all while taking care of me and Wyatt, too. I am so proud of how hard he's been working and how well he has balanced all of this. And just so I can put this into terms that might help emphasize his determination and dedication to family, work, and school - he has not gone dove hunting at all this season!
Wyatt and Kenley, there are so many people that love you both and would do anything for you. I wanted to post this so that you both could look back one day and know that everyone came together to help and how loved you are and how blessed our family is to have all these people in our lives.
Wyatt, you probably won't remember any of this because of how smooth it has been. All you know is that you've gotten to watch lots of Mickey Mouse and Handy Manny with Mommy and had lots of fun playing with everyone you've gotten to hang out with.
Miss Kenley, we are all so excited to meet you. We hope that you will continue growing a bit longer, but we are ready to meet you. We saw you on our last sonogram today and you were beautiful. Can't wait to hug and kiss you. Big Brother talks to you every time he sees my belly. He sings to you, rocks you, and tells everyone "baby sister is in there growing" and even tells them your name.

Bed Rest... Again
I forgot to upload my pictures first and it never lets me move them after I've typed so you might want to scroll down and read first. I'm sure there's an easier way to put pictures on here and if you know feel free to message me because it's always a battle. :)
Bed rest at Grammy's. We went over there after the doctor's appointment and I got to be with Wyatt while she took care of both of us. I'm under the blanket and Wyatt is playing with the ipad.
This weekend will be 36 weeks and everything had been going great. I had high blood pressure with Wyatt and so I was concerned about that this entire pregnancy but it kept coming out great. The past 2 weeks I have been waking up with migraines and they weren't going away quickly so I knew something was up (after my initial reaction of thinking it was just the weather changing). I went to see Dr. Joseph on Tuesday and sure enough my blood pressure had jumped quite a bit. They had me lay down for 5 minutes and re-checked and it was good again. So... he said bed rest and come back on Thursday to re-evaluate. Bed rest for those 2 days was not hard because the migraines got worse and I wasn't able to do anything anyways. Chris, my mom, and in-laws all took over and have been helping tremendously. When I went back today I was hoping that everything would be back to normal, but it was the same thing. And so back to bed rest I go for the rest of this pregnancy. I also got some medicine to help in case the migraines keep coming. I pray they don't. I want so badly to not be induced (like I was with Wyatt) or have a c-section (I know everyone says they are great, but I'm so scared of having one) so I'm doing everything I can to keep Miss Kenley on track to come when she's ready. We will see. I was super sad that my last few weeks with just me and Wyatt will be much different than I was planning, but also know he has no idea. I am very excited knowing that we will be a family of four in less than a month. Wyatt is ready... he asks every day for Kenley to come out. He tells everyone he sees about her and tells them she is growing. He's going to be a great big brother!
Balloon Festival
My mom, me, Chris, and Wyatt all went to the balloon festival this past weekend. It was a lot of fun, but very very crowded. Wyatt loved watching all the balloons glow and the fireworks show. He started to really LOVE fireworks this year.
Grammy got him lots of prizes.
The balloon glow...
Wyatt still LOVES "red car" and he makes sure to feed him (yes, he shares food with him), take him potty, and show him everything that he thinks is cool.
My mom's neighbor, Pam, met us there and her daughter is Wyatt's buddy. Madison was sitting like this so Wyatt had to, also. He thinks he is so big when he's with Madison and he gets lots of attention!

Eye Guy
I've purposely always let water get in Wyatt's face when giving him a bath since he was little so that he wouldn't have a problem with water and washing his hair wouldn't be a pain. I'm not sure if this works for all kids, but Wyatt has never really cared. However, after the water is dumped on him he always wants his eyes dried. I started calling this guy "eye guy" and after we wash Wyatt's hair we use "eye guy" to dry his eyes. I've been meaning to post this because I think it's cute and I finally remembered to snap a picture of "eye guy."

Storytime
We have anxiously been awaiting the first storytime at the library by our house. This morning we met Mackenzie, Aidan, and Baby Avery at the park to play and then we all headed to the library for storytime. The kids loved it! The man that told the stories and did the songs had a guitar, which made Wyatt's day. There was lots of singing, dancing, and stories. We can't wait to go back!
What makes Grammy a cool Grammy...
Wyatt LOVES Grammy! I think he might live with her if I let him. Here are a few reasons he thinks she's the coolest that I happened to catch on camera.
1. She helps find cool bugs for Mommy and Wyatt to look at. Don't worry, she knows that she better NOT ever have a spider because I would flip. Wyatt loves to look at bugs. He says he's scared at first and then he will eventually want to touch it. 2. She comes over to play and she makes sure to play WITH Wyatt.
3. She works in the garage with Daddy and builds things. She always gives Wyatt a very important job, too.

Build and Grow
This summer Mackenzie and Jonathan told us about Lowe's Build and Grow that they had been taking Aidan to. It has since become a twice a month perfect playdate for two little boys that love to build things. Wyatt loves Build and Grow Saturdays!
A few Saturdays we met at Chick-Fil-A for breakfast and some playing before building. Wyatt and Aidan love to drive the Lowe's car. Sweet Avery just tags along for the ride. Wyatt loves Aidan's baby sister and I can't wait to see him with his own.
When Wyatt concentrates, he gets a very serious face and his top lip gets pointy (according to my mom, just like mine did). It's so fun to watch him work hard on something and be so proud of it.
And what can be sweeter than watching Daddy and Wyatt work together?!
Mommy and Wyatt working.
The first time we went the project was a tow truck. Wyatt called it Mater and was so excited to make him.
