Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree

My mom and I took the kids to the neighborhood Christmas tree lighting while Chris was at class. I had never been so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm so glad we went. It was a great way to start December. As you are reading this, if you are asking yourself "Is this the best she could do with these pictures?!"... the answer is YES!!!

The 1st stop was the petting zoo where we also got to see some of our workout buddies. There were TONS of animals and Wyatt's favorite were the ducks. We can feed ducks at the park, but he wanted to chase them around while he didn't even look twice at the pig that walked by.

Grammy (my mom) and the kids. Notice Grammy's firm grip on Wyatt because he was not in the mood to sit and pose.

This was the Polar Express train that was built out of cardboard and wood. It was not sturdy at all and was just supposed to block people off, but who can walk by something like this and not get in it. Definitely not Wyatt, and I can't blame him. Come on, they had to expect this...

After Wyatt got in and every other kid walking by decided to try it out too, Kenley and Grammy decided to also.

Look at her cute Christmas jammies...

Wyatt loved Frosty...

We had cookies and hot chocolate...

We counted down and the tree lit up...

We went on a carriage ride and made new friends while waiting in the l-o-n-g line. We sang Christmas songs while riding.

We thanked the horse and told him "bye." They had five carriages and our horse was the only Clydesdale.

Then we went and had dinner at Rosa's. Wyatt was amazed by the tortilla making going on. He would have watched it all night. And of course they gave him a tortilla.

It was a fun night and I think this will be added to our Christmas traditions.
