1 Month {Reagan}

The last month has been sooo fast! We have been soaking up all the little seconds. Some times we are running around crazy and some moments have been still, but every second has been a complete blessing for our little family of five.

Reagan at her 1 month appointment

At 1 month Reagan is...

8 lbs 12 oz
19.75 in
eating every 2-3 hours during the day and 4-5 hours at night
randomly smiling
more alert and waking up more and more each day (this girl likes her sleep)
a grunter - she likes to tell us stories
very strong and holds her head up well and very high (she will need to be strong to keep up with brother and sister!)

Her favorite things to do are...

cuddle with Mommy and Daddy
eat
sleep
get a bath
look at her big brother and big sister

She's not a fan of...

her carseat
Kenley stealing her binky ;)

Kenley saw me taking pictures and started saying "cheeeeeese"

Rainy Day Boo Boos and Fun

We finally got some cooler weather and rain. I decided that we needed to get out of the house so we met our friends Kate and Ellie at McDonalds for a little playdate. Shortly after getting there Wyatt fell and got a busted lip. It was super sad ad swelled up pretty quick, but thankfully his teeth were fine and it was nothing a Sprite (instead of milk because it had ice in it) and some playing couldn't fix.

That night we picked up take and bake pizza and headed over to the Mikulas' house for a pizza and pajama party. It was the perfect end to a rainy Friday.

Reagan enjoyed all the fun, but sadly I didn't get any pictures of her. I did an awful job of taking pictures - Kate sent me Wyatt and Ellie and Mackenzie sent me the one from her house!

Grammy's Apples

Grammy keeps her fruit in a bowl on her little island in the middle of her kitchen. As soon as Kenley started walking, we've been finding apples with bites out of them. Now, Kenley and cousin Peyton both do it. They are pretty sneaky, too, because we rarely catch them in action. I guess they just take little breaks in between playing. And Bun the Bunny gets lucky because she gets all the bitten apples.

Fall 2013 Soccer {Wyatt}

This is Wyatt's 3rd season to play soccer. We are so lucky to still be with Coach Manny, who is awesome with the kids. This season the Dino Kickers are blue. Wyatt did a great job last weekend and we are hoping he will continue to improve. Most days he's not a huge fan of soccer, but then by the end of the season he gets into it. I think we will let him try another sport in the Spring to see if he likes it any better. 2 things are for sure: 1. He looks super cute in his soccer gear and 2. He's got a good cheering section.

Reagan's 1st Ride in the Bob

We are settling into our new routine. Wyatt is going to Pre-K on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays which gives me time with just the girls and gives him time with friends. Eventually, we will workout in the mornings but for now we've been using that time to clean up the house, prep dinner, and run errands.

I'm horrible about cooking when I'm pregnant. Nothing looks good, tastes good, and I'm just not good about cooking when I'm pregnant. So one of the nicest things about not being pregnant is getting back to normal and meal planning, grocery shopping, and having a set dinner time with our little family.

So tonight after dinner, we gave the kids baths, and headed out for a family walk. It's been way too hot to even think about walking but it wasn't that bad tonight. Reagan got to ride in the beloved Bob for her very first time. I'm pretty sure I've documented each child's first walk in the stroller. And each picture is a different stroller because I might have a stroller problem. Every time I buy a stroller I tell Chris it's the last one I'll ever buy. Well, until I convince him that I need to upgrade. But I sure do LOVE the Bob and I'm pretty sure it will be the last one I ever buy. If I had known way back when that I'd use the jogger every single day I think I would have just spent the money on this one in the beginning. So anyways, here's the pictures from our walk...

Kenley looks miserable, but as soon as we started she was a happy passenger. She threw a mini fit about getting her picture taken... who knows what was up.
Reagan seems perfectly content in her new ride, huh?

She looks sooo tiny. I put her little head positioner from the carseat in the stroller seat and it worked great.

And big brother got to ride his scooter. He was super excited.

And then this is how the majority of the walk went. Daddy scootering and Wyatt sprinting after him. Silly boys!

2 Week Appointment {Reagan}

I can't believe that Reagan is 2 weeks old already. She has been filling our hearts with so much joy. Her big brother and sister absolutely love her. They would carry her around with them if I let them. I always find them standing over her just looking, talking, and singing her songs. It's so sweet.

She was a big 7 lbs 4.8 oz and the doctor said that was great. She's a little above her birth weight now and eating like a champ so I know she will be growing fast. She's been spitting up, not a ton, but more than what I'm used to with a breastfed baby, which was my only concern. The doctor wasn't worried, but we will be trying a probiotic to see if that helps. It doesn't bother her at all, thank goodness.

She was able to take a bath this week and she loves it. We got one of these neat towels from sweet friends and it was great for her bath time lounging.

Wyatt and Kenley asked to go swimming at Grammy's one day so we did. They had a blast. Wyatt can swim and Kenley does great with her special floatie bathing suit so I was able to watch them while taking care of Reagan.

And I was playing during naptime one day and made this little picture of Wyatt, Kenley, and Reagan's newborn faces.

Meatloaf maker... {Kenley}

While Wyatt was at school and Reagan was napping, Kenley helped me make tonight's dinner. She loves to be a helper and loves anything that let's her be independent.

My helper is not supposed to have binkys during the day, but I keep them on the counter and she found them.

Wyatt's 1st Day of Pre-K

Wyatt is going to Pre-K three days a week this year. He had a great first day and told me all about his teachers and friends. He has several of his friends from last year in his class and his BFF, Aidan, is going to the same school this year (and in the same class!). I was nervous how the first day would go since we've been having a rough time with the transition to 3 kids. There's been so much going on around here, bed rest, a new baby, soccer starting, Pre-K, etc. that Wyatt's been acting out quite a bit. He is great with Reagan and very interested in her. His struggles have mostly been listening the first time and acting like a baby some. We know it's just a phase (that's normal for the circumstances) and are praying that school will help us get our new routine set and get everyone back into a good schedule. So I was very excited when the teachers said he was very well behaved and he told me how much fun he had.

It was super sunny and so I need to redo this picture. Poor guy could hardly open his eyes.

I was having trouble taking good pictures... apparently I picked the sunniest places. :( Here's Wyatt and Aidan ready to go.

The girls and I hung out at the house while Wyatt was at school. Kenley got some special mommy-time while Reagan was sleeping. She got her fingers and toes polished, which is one of her favorite things to do. No idea where she gets it from?!?!

Reagan Elle {Pictures}

It nearly took us 9 months to decide on a name for our sweet baby girl. We ended up both liking the name Reagan. Thank goodness. Naming her was stressful. And her middle name comes from Chris's grandfather, Elwood.

Here are the pictures to go with her birth story. We did a better job of taking pictures this time, but several aren't going to make it to the blog. When I was thinking the pain was getting to be too much, I told Chris that I wanted an epidural and my makeup and we were going to do this the pretty way. Haha. Since none of that happened this was the best picture of Mommy...

Proud Mommy and Daddy just meeting Reagan

*Wyatt got to come in and meet Reagan, but I was still nursing so we have those pictures but not on the blog. His expression is priceless though! It melted our hearts.

She's absolutely beautiful

Headed to our new room

All ready to go home

Kenley was starting to feel better, but still had awful red bumps on her poor little face

A very proud big brother

The next day, Kenley was on the bed with me and kept inching her way toward Reagan. This is where she sat for quite awhile. She loves her sister.
